Way back in 2009, one of the first chocolate flavours we made was Chai Spice. For some silly reason, the chai was split into 2 bars- the 76% Spicy and 76% Ginger, and I’ve been crying ever since. From time to time I’ve revisited this flavour on a larger scale, and just couldn’t quite nail the recipe…until now.
Ground into our 77% dark wild chocolate is the most delicious direct and Fair Trade organic chai spices I’ve ever come across. I do not use essential oils, but instead use the whole ground spice, giving this chocolate texture and deep heart warming flavour- like a hug from that special someone you adore beyond words. Perfect in the morning, the afternoon, and as a wind-me-down before bed.
Ingredients: Love & Gratitude, *Raw Arriba Nacional Cacao Paste, *Raw Unrefined Cane Juice Crystals, *Raw Arriba Nacional Cacao Butter, *Chai Spices (true cinnamon, fennel, ginger, clove, cardamom & black peppercorns), Mt. Salt.
